Our school Anzac Day Ceremony was held on Tuesday 24th April, where our students reflected on the sacrifice made by soldiers past and present that have served for Australia. Thanks must go to the 14th Army Cadet Unit for providing the Catafalque and Flag Party for our ceremony, including a number of Blackwater State High School students. These students also were involved at the ceremonies for the other schools in the region throughout the day.
Thank you to those that came along for the ceremony.
It was also great to have so many of our students involved in the town Anzac Day Parade and Ceremony. In addition to the students that marched with the school, we had students in the cadets, the school band that provided the music, students that were representing many other community groups and those that supported from the sidelines.
