This mission statement resonated throughout the proceedings of our student induction where our student leaders were recognised at our annual Investiture Ceremony. Student leaders play a very important role in the school community. Leadership within the school can be demonstrated in various ways but most powerfully it is demonstrated through the example set and the role model students are to other students at our school.

Blackwater State High School promotes the ideal that achievement can be gained through active citizenship in a climate of Safety, Respect, Responsibility and Effort. The student leadership positions are a particularly discernible measurement of these school values.
