This section contains information and support for students currently enrolled at Blackwater State High School via online learning either at home or over a device.
Access your school email
Students are expected to regularly check their Education Queensland email. This is accessed through Managed Internet Service - MIS. Your log in details will be the same as your normal school username and password.

Learning from home
All students at Blackwater SHS, whether learning from home or school, have been enrolled in their online classes. Blackwater SHS uses Blackboard eLearn.

Some classes will also run web conferencing sessions. These are run through iConnect. Access your web conferencing sessions through your Virtual Classroom (eLearn) or via a direct link sent to you by your teacher.

An important part of every students daily learning routine should be to check student notices. This is done through the Blackwater SHS Student SharePoint.

ReadCloud
ReadCloud is Blackwater SHS's online textbook provider for BYOx year levels (Y9-12). Students need to use their school email and password to access their online library.

Teachers will regularly set tasks for students to do throughout the day and before lessons. Some of these tasks may including students accessing online videos. Students can access ClickView to watch short videos and films set by their teacher.
